Signing in with your email and password

Updated:

This article shows you how to sign in to MobilityManager with your email address and password, and what to do if sign-in fails.

Before you begin

  • Your account must be active. An administrator (SystemAdmin or FleetManager) creates accounts and can deactivate them.
  • You must know which company (tenant) you belong to. MobilityManager is multi-tenant, so your login is tied to a specific company.
  • Your account must have a password set. If you sign in only through single sign-on, see the SSO articles instead.

Sign in step by step

  1. Open the MobilityManager sign-in page in your browser.
  2. Select your company from the company list. Only active companies appear here.
  3. Enter your email address in the email field.
  4. Enter your password.
  5. Choose Sign in.

When your credentials are correct, you are signed in and a session is created for you. Your roles and permissions are loaded for the company you selected.

Note: A sign-in session stays valid for 8 hours. After that you are signed out automatically and need to sign in again.

What happens behind the scenes

MobilityManager looks up your account by email, confirms it is active, verifies your password, and then issues a secure session token scoped to your selected company. On a successful sign-in the system also records the time as your last login and clears any previous failed-attempt count.

If sign-in fails

MessageWhat it meansWhat to do
Invalid email or password The email, the password, or your account status did not match. For security, the same message is shown whether the email is unknown, the password is wrong, or the account is inactive. Re-enter your details carefully. If it still fails, reset your password or contact your administrator.
Account is locked. Try again in N minute(s). Too many failed attempts triggered a temporary lockout. Wait the stated time, or reset your password to clear the lockout immediately.
Tenant has been deactivated. Please contact your administrator. The company you selected is no longer active. Contact your administrator to confirm your company access.
User does not have access to this tenant Your account has no role in the company you selected. Choose a company you belong to, or ask an administrator to grant access.
Tip: The generic "Invalid email or password" message is intentional. MobilityManager never confirms whether an email address exists, which protects your account against guessing attacks.
