Switching between companies without signing out
If your account belongs to more than one company, you can move between them without signing out. This article explains how the company switch works and what changes when you use it.
When you can switch
MobilityManager is multi-tenant, and a single account can hold roles in several companies (tenants). A company switcher becomes available once you have access to more than one company. If you belong to just one company, there is nothing to switch to.
Switch companies step by step
- While signed in, open the company switcher (usually near your account or company name).
- Choose the company you want to work in.
- Your session updates to the selected company. You do not need to re-enter your password.
Switching issues a fresh session for the target company. Your previous company context is replaced by the new one for the rest of your session.
What changes after you switch
- Roles and permissions: Your session loads only the roles you hold in the company you switched to. If you are a FleetManager in one company and a Driver in another, your available actions change accordingly.
- Data scope: You now see the fleet, drivers, documents, and settings of the new company only.
- Company context: New records you create belong to the company you are currently in.
Note: Switching companies does not sign you out or shorten your session. Your overall sign-in session still follows the normal 8-hour limit.
Access rules
You can switch only to a company where you have a role. If you try to switch to a company you do not belong to, the switch is denied with "User does not have access to this tenant." The SystemAdmin role is the exception and may switch into any company; when a SystemAdmin enters a company they are not directly assigned to, they carry the SystemAdmin role there.

| You are a SystemAdmin | You can switch into any active company. |
Tip: If a company you expect is missing from the switcher, it may be deactivated, or you may not have a role there. Ask an administrator to check your access.
