Track and cancel your booking requests

After you submit a booking request for manager approval, you can follow its progress and cancel it while it is still waiting. This article shows a Driver how to review request status and cancel a pending request.
View your requests
Open the booking requests area to see all requests you have submitted, newest first. Each row shows the requested time window, the purpose, the current status, and — once assigned — the vehicle's licence plate.
Request statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| PendingManagerAssignment | Waiting for a fleet manager to assign a vehicle or reject the request. |
| Approved | A manager assigned a vehicle; a confirmed booking now exists for you. |
| Rejected | A manager declined the request. The rejection reason is shown. |
| Cancelled | You cancelled the request before it was assigned. |
Open a request for details
Select a request to see its full detail, including your notes, and — once approved — the assigned vehicle's brand, model, licence plate, VIN, and pool, plus who approved it and when. If the request was rejected, the reason appears here. An approved request also links to the resulting booking so you can open it directly.
Note: You can only open requests that belong to you. Fleet managers with the manage-bookings permission can also view any request in their organization.
Cancel a pending request
- Open the request you want to withdraw.
- Choose to cancel it and optionally enter a reason (for example, "trip no longer needed").
- Confirm. The request moves to Cancelled and the time it was cancelled is recorded.
When cancelling is allowed
- You can cancel only your own requests. Trying to cancel someone else's request is refused.
- You can cancel only while the status is PendingManagerAssignment. If the request is already Approved, Rejected, or Cancelled, cancelling is refused with a message naming the current status.
Tip: If your request has already been approved and you no longer need the vehicle, cancel the resulting booking instead of the request. Cancelling the booking frees the vehicle for other drivers.
