Changing the interface language (German or English)
This article explains how to switch the MobilityManager interface between German and English, and how your personal language choice relates to your company's default language.
Supported languages
The interface is available in two languages:
- English (EN)
- German / Deutsch (DE)
Your choice affects labels, menus, and messages throughout the application. It does not translate the data you enter, such as vehicle names or notes.
Changing the language while signed in
- Open the profile menu from your avatar (your initials) in the top-right corner.
- Select your preferred language, German or English.
- The interface updates immediately — there is no need to reload the page or sign in again.
Changing the language before you sign in
You do not have to be signed in to switch languages. The sign-in page has its own language switch, so you can read the login screen in your preferred language first and it will carry through after you sign in.
How your choice is remembered
Your language preference is stored in your browser, so the next time you open the application on the same browser it starts in the language you last chose. If you have never picked one, the app falls back to your browser's language when it is German or English, and otherwise defaults to English.
Note: Because the preference is saved in the browser's local storage, it is per-browser and per-device. If you sign in from a different computer or browser, set your language again there. Clearing your browser data also resets the choice.
Personal language vs. tenant default language
There are two related but separate settings, and it helps to keep them apart:

The tenant default language is picked when the company is first configured. Your personal interface-language choice applies to your own session and overrides the default for you, without changing what other users see.
Tip: If colleagues report seeing the app in a different language than you do, that is expected — each person's interface language is their own browser preference.
