Where to get help in MobilityManager
This article points you to the right sources of help for MobilityManager, depending on whether your question is about using the app, about access, or about the running installation.
Start with the help center
The help center you are reading is the first place to look. It is organized by product area — getting started, fleet, bookings, expenses, compliance, and more — and most everyday questions are answered by a dedicated article. Use search to find a topic quickly by keyword, including German terms such as Belege or Strafmandate.
Questions about access and permissions
Many "I can't find this" or "I can't do this" situations are access questions rather than faults. Remember that:
- The sidebar and dashboard only show modules your role has permission to use.
- Some modules appear only when your organization has licensed them.
- Roles are assigned per company/tenant, so your access can differ between tenants.
If a feature you expect is missing, contact a SystemAdmin in your organization. They can review your role assignment, adjust permissions, or confirm whether a module is licensed. A FleetManager can also help with day-to-day operational questions about the fleet.
Tip: When you ask for help, include which tenant you were in, the page or module name, what you were trying to do, and the exact message you saw. That context lets an administrator resolve it much faster.
Interpreting on-screen messages
The application returns clear messages when something is refused or fails — for example an access-denied message when a permission is missing, or a validation message explaining why a form could not be saved. Read the message first: it usually names the exact cause and the fix.
For administrators: checking the installation
If you administer a self-hosted instance and suspect a system-level problem rather than a usage question, the platform exposes health endpoints you can check:
/healthz— overall health/livez— liveness/readyz— readiness
These confirm quickly whether the service and its database connection are up. Application logs provide further detail for diagnosing issues.
Note: The onboarding wizard runs only on an unconfigured system and is sealed off afterwards. If you reach a setup screen unexpectedly on a live system, or setup screens refuse to open with "already configured," that is by design — raise it with your administrator rather than attempting to re-run setup.
