Your first login after setup

This article walks you through what happens the first time you sign in to MobilityManager after setup is complete, so you know what to expect and where you land.

Getting to the sign-in page

When onboarding finishes, the platform sends you to the sign-in page automatically. If you open the application later and it has not been configured yet, you are redirected to the setup wizard instead — so reaching the sign-in screen is itself confirmation that setup is complete.

Signing in for the first time

Sign-in happens in two short steps:

  1. Enter your email and choose your company. Type the email address of your account. If the installation has more than one tenant, pick the company you want to work in from the tenant selector (shown as "Name (code)"). If there is only one tenant, it is selected for you.
  2. Enter your password. After you continue, type your password and sign in. If your tenant uses single sign-on (SSO), you may be redirected to your identity provider instead of entering a password.

If you just completed onboarding, sign in with the administrator email and password you created during the wizard. That account holds the SystemAdmin role, giving you full access to configure the rest of the system.

Tip: A caps-lock indicator and a show/hide toggle on the password field help you avoid typos. After several failed attempts the account is temporarily locked and a countdown shows when you can try again, so wait for the timer rather than retrying immediately.

The welcome experience

On an early sign-in, if the tenant has not yet completed its welcome steps, you are taken to a welcome screen to help you get oriented before you reach the main workspace. You can dismiss it, and once dismissed or completed it will not interrupt you again on that tenant. If nothing needs your attention, you go straight to the dashboard.

Where you land

After a successful sign-in you arrive at your dashboard — your personalized home page. What you see there depends on your role: managers see fleet KPIs and alerts, while drivers see their upcoming bookings and driving-licence status. The left sidebar lists the modules you have access to.

Note: If a module you expected is missing from the sidebar, it is because your role lacks the required permission or your organization has not licensed that module. Ask a SystemAdmin to review your role assignment.

Next steps after your first login

  • Set your preferred interface language from the profile menu (German or English).
  • If you are the administrator, invite colleagues by creating users and assigning them roles.
  • Explore the sidebar to find the modules relevant to your work.
