Module entitlements and which modules your license enables
This article lists the modules your MobilityManager license can enable and explains how module entitlements control which features appear in the product.
How module entitlements work
Your signed license key carries a flag for each module. When a module is enabled, its features are available; when it is disabled, the corresponding area is not offered. The demo license enables every module, while a purchased license enables exactly the modules in your plan.
Note: A module flag only takes effect while the license is valid. If the license is expired, every module is treated as disabled until a valid license is activated.
The modules a license can enable

Tip: Two modules — Strafmandate and the Fleet Cost Cockpit — are treated as enabled by default when a key does not explicitly carry their flag, so older keys still expose them.
Seeing which modules you have
Any signed-in user can read the current license, which reports each module flag alongside the expiry date and seat limits. The product uses these flags to decide what to show, so an enabled module appears in the interface and a disabled one does not. There is also a per-feature check that answers whether a single named module (for example, tankmanagement or fuehrerscheinkontrolle) is currently enabled.
Changing which modules are enabled
Module entitlements are fixed by your license. To turn a module on or off:
- Obtain a license key whose module flags match the plan you want.
- Have an administrator with the
softwareLicense:managepermission apply it through the update/replace flow. - The new module set takes effect immediately; your existing data in each area is preserved even if a module is toggled.
Warning: Enabling a module by editing the database directly does not work as a shortcut. The integrity monitor reconciles the module flags against your signed license and corrects any flag that does not match, recording a tamper-evidence event.
