Fleet dashboards overview
This article introduces the reporting and dashboard tools in MobilityManager so you can find the right view for a fleet question and understand who can open it.
What the reporting area gives you
MobilityManager turns your live Fuhrpark (fleet) data into a small set of purpose-built views. Each one is generated on demand from your current vehicles and bookings — there is no overnight batch, so what you see reflects the data at the moment you open it.
- Utilization dashboard — fleet-wide utilization averages plus two flagged lists: vehicles near their mileage limit and vehicles that are under-utilized.
- Per-vehicle utilization — every active vehicle ranked by its composite utilization score, highest first.
- Booking frequency — total bookings and bookings per day, week, and month over a chosen period, with a daily trend.
- Inspections due soon — vehicles whose next inspection (for example the German HU, Hauptuntersuchung / main vehicle inspection) falls within a reminder threshold.
- Fleet overview report — a single report combining inventory, utilization, booking statistics, and cost summary, with PDF and CSV export.
Who can access dashboards and reports
All of these views are gated by a single permission, View reports (reports:view-all), enforced on the server with [RequirePermission]. By default this permission is granted to the FleetManager and SystemAdmin roles. A Driver does not see them. If you use custom roles, an administrator can add the View reports permission to any role that needs fleet-level insight.
Note: Because reporting exposes the whole fleet rather than a single driver's own bookings, treat the View reports permission as a management-level grant.
How your data is scoped
MobilityManager is multi-tenant. Every dashboard and report is automatically scoped to your own company (tenant): you never see another company's vehicles, bookings, or costs, and you do not need to select your company each time. Vehicle brand and model names are resolved from the shared catalog, while odometer readings, mileage allowances, contracts, and bookings come from your tenant.

Tip: Use the dashboards for day-to-day monitoring and the fleet overview report when you need a shareable, exportable snapshot for a meeting or an archive.
