I do not see a module that should be available

MobilityManager is modular. Optional modules such as Schadenmanagement (Damage Management), Strafmandate (traffic-fine handling), or the Fleet Cost Cockpit are unlocked by your license. If a module is missing from your navigation or its pages return an error, this article explains how to tell a license issue from a permission issue and how to resolve it.

Symptom

A module you expect is not shown, or opening it returns a message like The [module] module is not available in your current license. with the code LICENSE_CAPABILITY_DISABLED. This is different from an Access Denied message, which is about your role.

Cause

Each licensed module is governed by a capability flag in your license. When a module's flag is off, or the license has expired, the platform blocks that module's endpoints and returns the capability message above. Modules gated this way include, among others:

  • Schadenmanagement (Damage Management) and Strafmandate
  • Belege (Expenses) and the shared Document module
  • Führerscheinkontrolle (driving-licence verification)
  • Lagerverwaltung (Warehouse), Wartungsplanung (Maintenance Planning), Tankmanagement (Fuel Management)
  • Versicherung (Insurance Management) and the Fleet Cost Cockpit
  • Automation, Bookings, and Shared Pools (car-sharing)

Note: If your license has expired, every licensed module is treated as disabled until the license is renewed, even if each module's own flag is on.

License issue or permission issue?

What you seeMost likely causeWho fixes it
"...module is not available in your current license" (code LICENSE_CAPABILITY_DISABLED)The module is not enabled by your license, or the license has expired.SystemAdmin updates or renews the license.
"Access Denied" on a module that others in your company can openYour role lacks the required permission. An administrator adjusts your role.

Resolution

  1. Note the exact message and code. The capability code confirms it is a license matter, not a role matter.
  2. Ask a SystemAdmin to review the current license and confirm whether the module is included and the license is still valid.
  3. If the module is not part of your plan, contact MobilityManager support or your account manager to add it, then have an administrator apply the updated license.
  4. If the license already includes the module, confirm it is not expired. Renewing or reapplying the signed license restores access.
  5. Once the license is in place, confirm your role also grants the module's permissions, or the pages will still show Access Denied.

Tip: Administrators can review the active license, its expiry date, and which module flags are enabled from the license administration area. Installing or replacing a license requires the software-license management permission.
