Managing toll vignettes
Record a vehicle's toll vignettes (motorway toll stickers) by country and track their validity periods on the Vignetten tab of the Fahrzeugakte (vehicle file).
What the Vignetten tab is for
Many countries require a vignette to use their motorways — for example Austria and Switzerland. The Vignetten tab lets you keep a per-vehicle record of which vignettes it holds, for which country, and how long each one is valid. Entries are listed with the latest expiry first, so the most current vignettes appear at the top of the list.
Reading vignettes requires the vehicles:view permission. Adding, editing, and deleting them requires vehicles:manage (FleetManager, SystemAdmin, or a custom role that grants it).
Fields on a vignette

Adding a vignette
- Open the vehicle and go to the Vignetten tab of the Fahrzeugakte.
- Add a new vignette and select the country.
- Enter the valid-from and valid-to dates that define the validity window.
- Record the cost and any notes, then save.
The new vignette appears in the list according to its expiry date, with later expiries higher up.
Renewing and removing vignettes
When a vignette is close to expiring, add a new one for the next period rather than editing the old record — this keeps the history of past vignettes intact. Edit an existing entry only to correct its details. Delete a vignette when it was entered by mistake.
Tip: Before a cross-border trip, check the tab and add any vignette the destination country requires ahead of departure. Adding the new vignette before the current one lapses means the vehicle is always covered.
Note: The valid-from and valid-to dates define exactly when a vignette is in force. Because the list is sorted by valid-to, the entries most likely to still be current sit at the top, making it quick to confirm coverage at a glance.
