Disposition: Configuring Settings, Filters and Working Hours
Overview
The Disposition (Dispatch board) has two levels of settings: personal board settings, which each user sets for themselves (and which FMWeb stores per user), and tenant-wide options in the "Dispo" tab of the WebRes Einstellungen (WebRes Settings).
Personal settings on the planning board
Directly on the board (Article 103) you choose:
- Gruppierungsoption (grouping option): no grouping, make, model, body type or pool
- Interval (in Minuten) (interval in minutes) and Anzahl Slots pro Interval (number of slots per interval): the granularity of the time axis
This selection is saved automatically when you leave the page and restored on the next visit - separately for each user.
The Settings dialog: hiding elements
The Einstellungen (Settings) button opens the filter dialog with four multi-selects:
- Filter Pools
- Filter Marken (Filter makes)
- Filter Modelle (Filter models)
- Filter Bauarten (Filter body types)
Anything you tick here is hidden on the board - the dialog shows "x of y hidden" for each list. The vehicle filters work in combination with the active grouping: hidden pools reduce the vehicle rows when grouping by pool, hidden makes when grouping by make, and so on. With "Alle anzeigen" (Show all) you reset all filters; Speichern (Save) applies the selection. The number next to the Settings button shows the total number of hidden elements at all times.
Tenant-wide options (WebRes Einstellungen → "Dispo" tab)
Under Systemadministration → WebRes Einstellungen (System Administration → WebRes Settings) (/applications/settings/webRes, Article 95), the Dispo tab contains:
- Zeige nur Arbeitszeiten an? (Show only working hours?) - limits the board's time axis (and the vehicle utilization in the driver portal) to a time window
- Startzeit and Endzeit (start time and end time) - the working-hours window in HH:mm format
- Kann ein Fahrer mehrere Fahrzeuge bewegen? (Can a driver move multiple vehicles?) - switches off the double-booking check: by default, FMWeb prevents the same driver from being scheduled for two vehicles in the same period
Changes apply to all users of the tenant and are applied with Speichern (Save).
Frequently asked questions
My filters disappeared after logging out. Personal settings are saved per user. Check that you log in with the same user; otherwise set the filters again once.
Despite set make filters, I see all vehicles. The hide filters act on the vehicle rows in combination with the matching grouping. Set the grouping to "Marke" (make), for example, so that the make filter reduces the rows.
The board shows no cells at night. The working-hours display is active. Disable "Zeige nur Arbeitszeiten an?" (Show only working hours?) or extend the start/end time in the "Dispo" tab.
