Overview

On the Verträge (Contracts) tab of the vehicle record (direct link: /applications/vehicles/addoredit/{id}?section=vertraege), you manage all of a vehicle's contracts. The contract list shows Vertragstyp, Geber, Vertragsnummer, Vertragsbeginn, Vertragsende und Betrag (brutto) (Contract type, Lessor, Contract number, Contract start, Contract end, and Amount (gross)).

A fully maintained leasing contract is the data basis for the Leasing-Rückgabe-Cockpit (Leasing return cockpit, Article 13) and the Leasing notifications (Article 06) — if mileage rates are missing, the cockpit deliberately shows "Vertrag unvollständig" (Contract incomplete) instead of a forecast.

Creating a contract

Click "Hinzufügen" (Add) and first select the Vertragstyp (Contract type). Besides Finanzierungsleasing (Finance lease) (the "leading" leasing contract, which also appears in the summary band and data sheet), the options include Technisches Leasing, Laufleistungsleasing, Mietvertrag, Eigentum/Kredit, Dienstleistungsvertrag, Telematikvertrag, Mobilfunkvertrag und Versicherungsvertrag (Technical lease, Mileage lease, Rental contract, Ownership/loan, Service contract, Telematics contract, Mobile-phone contract, and Insurance contract).

Basic fields (all contract types):

  • Gesellschaft (Company) (the contract partner/lessor), Vertragsnummer (Contract number)
  • Vertragsbeginn (Contract start), Vertragsende (Contract end), Laufzeit (Monate) (Term (months)) — if you leave the end empty, FMWeb calculates it automatically from start + term
  • Betrag (Amount) (gross amount of the installment) and Hinweise (Notes) (free text)
  • Only for finance leasing: Vertragsform (Contract form) "Kilometer" (open contract) or "Restwert" (Residual value) (closed contract)

Mileage terms (finance and technical leasing)

These fields control the excess/shortfall mileage assessment in the return cockpit:

FieldMeaning
km-Gesamtlaufleistung (Total contract mileage)contract mileage over the entire term
km/Jahr (km/year)agreed annual mileage
Abweichende KM (Tolerance km)free allowance: within this deviation nothing is billed
Mehr KM (Excess km)rate the lessor charges per excess kilometer
Weniger KM (Fewer km)rate the lessor refunds per shortfall kilometer
Begrenzte Rückvergütung? (Capped refund?)checkbox if the lessor only refunds shortfall kilometers up to a cap
KM werden maximal rückvergütet (Max. km refunded)the refund cap in kilometers (appears only when the checkbox is set)

Copy the rates exactly from the leasing contract — the cockpit's euro forecast is based on them.

Contract data (calculation)

For finance and technical leasing, additionally: Kundennummer, Rabatt in %, Grundpreis, Anzahlung, MA. Wunsch (Customer number, Discount in %, Base price, Down payment, Extra equipment), Überführungskosten, Zulassung, Listenpreis, Gesamtpreis, Restwert, Auslieferung, Rückgabe (Delivery costs, Registration, List price, Total price, Residual value, Delivery, Return), and Leasing Faktor in % (Leasing factor in %).

For telematics and mobile-phone contracts, the block "Kündigung & Hinweise" (Termination & notes) appears instead, with "Spätestens kündigen bis" (Terminate no later than) and "Kündigungsfrist (Monate)" (Notice period (months)).

Frequently asked questions

The cockpit reports "Vertrag unvollständig" (Contract incomplete) — what's missing? Usually the rates Mehr KM/Weniger KM (excess/fewer km) or the km-Gesamtlaufleistung (total contract mileage). Open the contract via the direct link from the cockpit and add the terms.

Why is the "Leasingfahrzeug" (leased vehicle) flag on the Übersicht tab separate from the contract? The flag marks the vehicle; the terms are in the contract. For reports and the cockpit, the contract of type finance leasing is what counts.

I can only view contracts. To edit, you need vehicles.edit; in addition, an external editing lock (Article 44) and the vehicle status "sold/decommissioned/inactive" block editing.
