Recording and Managing a Penalty Notice
Overview
With the Strafmandate (Penalty notices) module you document fine notices and cautions relating to your vehicles: authority, alleged offence, fine, points, driving ban and processing status. An integrated appointment matching helps determine the driver responsible at the time of the offence.
Important: Strafmandate require the Enterprise licence. Without this licence, the page shows a corresponding notice.
The overview
With the penalties.view permission, the Strafmandate menu item appears in the navigation menu (/applications/penalties/overview). The table shows driver, licence plate, incoming date, reply, sender (authority), alleged offence, fine, points, driving ban, case reference, done status and the creation/change date.
- Filter: From/To date narrows down by the Eingangsdatum (incoming date).
- Toolbar: search, column selection, CSV and PDF export; the table also supports grouping and column filters.
- Aktionen (Actions): open icon to edit, trash icon to delete (with a confirmation prompt, requires
penalties.edit).

- Eingegangen am (Received on) and Geantwortet am (Replied on)
- Fahrverbot? (Driving ban?) – with the checkbox set, additionally From/To and the duration in weeks
- Bußgeld (Fine) (amount) and Punkte (Points)
- Erledigt? (Done?) and a free Vermerk (Note) field
After Speichern (Save) the form stays open; in addition the Historie (History) tab with the change log appears, and the Anschreiben (Cover letter) button becomes active (article 66).
Determining the driver via appointments
To the right of the input fields, FMWeb shows the appointments/reservations of the selected vehicle (start, end, driver). This lets you see at a glance who had the vehicle at the time of the offence: a click on the appointment row transfers the driver directly into the penalty notice.
Frequently asked questions
Why can't I enter anything? With only penalties.view the form is read-only (banner). Editing requires penalties.edit.
Why is "Anschreiben" greyed out? The cover letter is only available after the penalty notice has been saved for the first time.
