Versicherungsvorlauf (Insurance Renewal Worklist): Reminders for Expiring Policies
Overview
The Versicherungsvorlauf (Insurance Renewal Worklist) (/applications/vertraege/versicherungsvorlauf) is the worklist for expiring insurance policies: it shows every vehicle whose insurance expires within the selected period and offers, per row, an email reminder as well as a jump into the vehicle file. Unlike the "Verträge auslaufend" (Expiring Contracts) page, the worklist can additionally be filtered by body type – handy when, for example, only truck policies with a particular insurer are being negotiated.

Filters
- Auslaufend innerhalb von (Expiring within): 7, 14, 30, 60 or 90 days. The default comes from the threshold for expiring contracts defined in the email settings (default: 30 days).
- Bauart (Body type): narrows the list to one vehicle type (e.g. PKW/car, LKW/truck); "Alle Bauarten" (All body types) removes the filter.
- Aktualisieren (Refresh) reloads the list with the current filters; the change of day reloads it automatically.
The table
Per vehicle: Kennzeichen (License plate), Ablaufdatum (Expiry date), Tage übrig (Days remaining), Versicherer (Insurer) – with column filters, sorting and paging (20 rows by default). If nothing expires within the period, a note is shown.
Actions per row:
- Erinnerung senden (Send reminder) (envelope icon): opens your local email program with a prepared message – subject "Erinnerung: Versicherung läuft aus – [Kennzeichen]" (Reminder: insurance expiring – [license plate]) and a body containing vehicle, insurer, expiry date and remaining days. You enter the recipients yourself.
- Fahrzeug öffnen (Open vehicle): jumps into the vehicle file's Versicherung (Insurance) section, where you can renew the policy or switch insurer.
Frequently asked questions
Does "Erinnerung senden" use the FMWeb mail task? No. The reminder is created via your local email program (mailto link) and sent by you – independently of the SMTP dispatch described in article 01.
How does the worklist differ from "Verträge auslaufend"? "Verträge auslaufend" (article 70) shows insurance and leasing in two tabs, but without a reminder function and without a body-type filter. The Versicherungsvorlauf is the specialised insurance worklist.
Why is a vehicle missing? Either the expiry date lies outside the period, the body type has been filtered out, or the vehicle has no insurance switch/expiry date maintained.
