Vehicle Comparison: Costs Year-on-Year ("Vergleich")
Overview
The Vergleich (Comparison) report contrasts each vehicle's receipt costs for the selected year with those of the previous year. Cost drivers and upward outliers therefore appear right at the top of the list – by default the table is sorted in descending order by the difference.

Key figures (summary)

Table columns
- Kennzeichen (License plate), Model, Standort (Location)
- Aktuelles Jahr (Current year) – receipt total in the selected year
- Vorjahr (Previous year) – receipt total in the year before
- Differenz (Difference) – absolute change
- Differenz % (Difference %) – change as a percentage of the previous year's value (0 if no costs were incurred in the previous year)
Where available, the net amount of a receipt is summed; if it is missing, the gross amount is used.
Filters

Use Aktualisieren (Refresh) to reload the data for the year you entered; Zurücksetzen (Reset) jumps back to the current year.
Data prerequisites
- Receipts with a receipt date in the selected year or in the previous year. Vehicles without receipts in either year do not appear.
- For meaningful percentages, both years should be fully recorded – a year in progress will naturally be below a complete previous year.

Via the table toolbar: CSV, Excel or PDF; column selection, sorting and Excel-like column filters are available as in all reports.
Frequently asked questions
Why does "Differenz %" show 0 even though costs were incurred? If the vehicle had no costs in the previous year, no percentage change can be calculated – the column then shows 0. In that case the absolute difference is what matters.
Can I compare any two years? No, the selected year is always compared with the immediately preceding one. Choose 2024, for example, to compare 2024 against 2023.
A vehicle has become significantly more expensive – how do I find the cause? As a complement, check the reports 81 – Consumption per km (consumption outliers) and 77 – Address Report (with which suppliers/workshops the amounts were incurred).
