Enterprise Report "Kostenverteilung" (Cost Distribution)
Overview
The Kostenverteilung (Cost Distribution) (/applications/statistics/enterprise/costdistribution) groups your fleet costs either by Kostenstellen (cost centers) or by Kostenarten (cost types) and automatically contrasts each group with the previous-year value – including the difference and the percentage change. Two charts visualize the largest cost blocks and their shares of the total volume.
Filters
- Von / Bis (From / To) – default: January 1 of the current year through today
- Gruppierung (Grouping): Kostenstellen (cost centers, default) or Kostenarten (cost types)
Key figures (summary cards)
| Card | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Anzahl Gruppen | number of cost centers or cost types with values |
| Gesamtkosten | total of the selected period |
| Vorjahr Gesamtkosten | comparison value for the same period last year |
| Veränderung | difference from the previous year – extra costs in red, savings in green |
Report layout
Table (left): for each group, the columns Gruppe (group), Summe (EUR) (total in EUR), Vorjahr (EUR) (previous year in EUR), Differenz (EUR) (difference in EUR), and Änderung % (change %) – sorted by total in descending order by default. Every row can be expanded: the detail breakdown then shows which items make up the group (when grouping by cost center, for example, the individual cost types with amounts).
Charts (right):
- Top Kosten (Top costs) – bar chart of the ten largest groups, the current period next to the previous year
- Verteilung (Distribution) – pie chart of the shares of all groups in the total volume
Export
You export the table as CSV, Excel, or PDF from the toolbar; the charts are for viewing on screen.
Data prerequisites
- The basis is the period's receipts with an assigned Kostenart (cost type) and – for the cost-center view – a Kostenstelle (cost center) on the vehicle or receipt. Unassigned costs may appear in a collective group or be missing.
- The previous-year comparison requires receipts from the previous-year period – in the first year of use, the previous-year columns stay empty.
- With location restriction active, only data from permitted locations is included.
Frequently asked questions
The change is red even though we saved money. Red means a cost increase compared with the previous year, green a saving – what is checked is the difference "current period minus previous year." Check whether the From/To period really is chosen to be comparable (e.g. full quarters in both cases).
Can I see both groupings at the same time? Not in one view – switch the grouping in the filter and reload. Tip: export both variants to Excel and combine them there.
