Managing Vignettes on the Vehicle
Overview
On the Vignetten (Vignettes; toll stickers) tab of the vehicle record (direct link: /applications/vehicles/addoredit/{id}?section=vignetten), you document which countries a vehicle holds a valid toll vignette for and how long it is valid. That way, dispatching and drivers can see at a glance before trips abroad whether a new vignette needs to be obtained.
The vignette list
For each vignette, the table shows:

If nothing has been recorded yet, the list reports "Noch keine Vignetten für dieses Fahrzeug erfasst." (No vignettes recorded for this vehicle yet.)
Creating or editing a vignette
- Click "Hinzufügen" (Add) (or the pencil icon of an existing row).
- Select the Land (Country) from the searchable country list.
- Set "Gültig von" (Valid from) and "Gültig bis" (Valid to). As a suggestion, FMWeb enters today's date and a one-year term — adjust this to the actual vignette (e.g. a 10-day or 2-month vignette).
- Speichern (Save).
When deleting, FMWeb asks for safety ("Vignette … wirklich löschen?" — Really delete vignette …?).
Checks on saving
- "Bitte füllen Sie alle Pflichtfelder aus (Land, von, bis)." (Please fill in all required fields (country, from, to).) — country or a date is missing.
- "Das Datum ‚von' darf nicht nach ‚bis' liegen." (The 'from' date must not be later than 'to'.) — correct the validity period.
- "Es ist schon eine Vignette für dieses Land für dieses Fahrzeug vorhanden." (A vignette for this country already exists for this vehicle.) — only one entry per country is allowed per vehicle. Instead, extend the existing entry (Edit → new "Gültig bis").
Frequently asked questions
Where do I record the cost of the vignette? The vignette entry only records country and validity. You book the cost like other vehicle costs as a receipt on the Belege (Receipts) tab of the record — that way it flows into the cost reports.
Is there a warning when the vignette expires? No, the list shows the data without an automatic expiry reminder. Check the validity before trips, or use an additional appointment in the maintenance area for recurring deadlines (Article 39).
Why can't I create vignettes? To edit, vignetten.edit and vehicles.edit are required (Article 18); in addition, an external editing lock (Article 44) and the "sold/decommissioned/inactive" status block editing.
