Truck, Bus, and Trailer Data in the Vehicle Record
Overview
For commercial vehicles, the vehicle record shows additional tabs — depending on the vehicle's Bauart (Vehicle class, Article 33):
- Tab "LKW" (Truck) or "Bus" (
?section=lkwbus): for trucks, tractor units, buses, and motorhomes. For buses, the tab is automatically labeled "Bus". - Tab "Anhänger" (Trailer) (
?section=anhaenger): for trailers and semi-trailers.
If the tab is missing, first check the vehicle class in the data sheet (Article 34). For newly created, not-yet-saved vehicles, a note appears asking you to save the vehicle first.

Certificates & appointments (truck/bus)
- Lärmzertifikat (Noise certificate) with "Lärm ausgestellt am" (Noise issued on) / "Lärm nächste am" (Noise next on)
- EU-Lizenz (EU license) with "EU-Lizenz ausgestellt am" (EU license issued on) / "EU-Lizenz nächste am" (EU license next on)
- Gewogen am (Weighed on) and Aktuelles Gewicht (Current weight)
- Sonderprüfung (Special inspection), Tachoprüfung (Tachograph inspection), and Feuerlöscher-Prüfung (Fire-extinguisher inspection) — each with "nächste" (next), "zuletzt" (last), and a notes field
The special-inspection dates also appear in the appointment overview of the maintenance area (Article 39).

Saving
Both tabs are saved via the record's central Speichern (Save) button. The vehicle-editing permission vehicles.edit is sufficient; locked vehicles (Article 44) as well as sold/decommissioned/inactive vehicles are write-protected.
Frequently asked questions
The "LKW" (Truck) tab is missing for my van. The tabs only appear for the vehicle classes truck, tractor unit, bus, and motorhome (or trailer/semi-trailer). Check which vehicle class is assigned to the vehicle — after changing the vehicle class and saving, the tab appears.
Where do I maintain HU and UVV for the truck? As for all vehicles, in the Wartung (Maintenance) area (Article 39) — that is also where the basis for the email reminders lies (Article 04).
