Overview

The Verbrauch pro KM (Consumption per km) report calculates the average consumption per vehicle over 100 km from the receipts and flags outliers that exceed an adjustable threshold. Since version 10.4, electric vehicles are correctly evaluated in kWh/100 km – with their own outlier threshold, separate from the litre consumption of combustion vehicles.

How electric and hybrid vehicles are handled (from 10.4)

  • Fuel receipts (litres) and charging receipts (electric receipts with kWh, see article 11) are evaluated as separate streams.
  • A plug-in hybrid gets two rows: one in l, one in kWh – each with its own distance and its own consumption value. The key figures above remain correct: vehicles are counted only once, and the total distance is combined per vehicle across both receipt types.
  • Older electric receipts, where kWh were still recorded in the litre field, remain unchanged in the litre stream – there it is advisable to switch to proper electric receipts.

Data prerequisites

  • Receipts need an odometer reading and a quantity (litres or kWh). Rows without a measurable distance (only one receipt, or identical odometer readings) are hidden.
  • The more receipts with maintained odometer readings, the more accurate the value – the distance is derived from the span of the odometer readings.

Via the table toolbar: CSV, Excel or PDF. Handy: first enable "Nur Ausreisser" (Outliers only), then export – and your check list is ready.

Frequently asked questions

An electric car appears with unrealistic "litres". The charging sessions were probably recorded as normal fuel receipts (litres) instead of as electric receipts. Article 11 describes the correct recording.

Where are the thresholds set permanently? The filter values apply per session; you maintain the default parameters under Tankkosten Einstellungen (Fuel cost settings) (article 82). Home charging and its reimbursement are covered in article 12.
