Audience: Fleet managers, controlling

Required permission: statistics.enterprise – the Enterprise license is also required

Overview

Kosten je Fahrzeug (Cost per Vehicle) (/applications/statistics/enterprise/costpervehicle) is the central full-cost report: one row per vehicle with all cost blocks for the selected period – from the leasing rate through fuel to repairs – and the resulting total cost per kilometer.

Filters

  • Von / Bis (From / To) – default: January 1 of the current year through today
  • Leasingart (Leasing type): Alle (All), Finanzleasing (Finance lease), Techn. Leasing (Technical lease), Miete (Rental), Dienstleistung (Service), Sonstiges (Other), Kauf + Leasing (Purchase + Leasing) – so you can, for example, compare only your finance-lease vehicles with one another

Key figures (summary cards)

CardMeaning
Gesamt Fahrzeugenumber of vehicles in the report
Gesamtkostentotal of all costs in the period
Ø Kosten/kmtotal costs divided by total mileage
Gesamtlaufleistungkilometers driven by all vehicles in the period

Table columns

License plate (default sort), Tech-ID, Equipment-Nr (equipment no.), make, model, Kaufbetrag (purchase amount), Leasing/Kauf (leasing/purchase), leasing start, leasing months, leasing end, Leasing Rate (leasing rate), first registration, Laufleistung KM (mileage in km), insurance, taxes, GEZ (broadcasting fee), fuel liters, fuel costs, consumption l/100km, repair costs, other costs, Gesamtkosten (total costs), Gesamtkosten/km (total cost/km), and location.

Use the column selector to hide cost blocks you don't need; every column can be sorted – e.g. descending by "Gesamtkosten/km" (total cost/km) to find the most expensive vehicles.

Export

Export as CSV, Excel, or PDF from the toolbar. The Excel export works well as a basis for your own TCO calculations.

Data prerequisites

  • The cost columns are fed from the vehicle's receipts (cost types such as insurance, tax, repair) and the fuel/charging data (Article 08).
  • Leasing fields come from the contract data in the vehicle record; filtering by leasing type requires a maintained contract type.
  • Kilometer-based values require plausible odometer readings in the period – without mileage, "Gesamtkosten/km" (total cost/km) stays empty or 0.
  • With location restriction active, users only see vehicles at their permitted locations.

Frequently asked questions

Consumption and cost/km look distorted for electric vehicles. The "Treibstoff Liter" (fuel liters) and "Verbrauch l/100km" (consumption l/100km) columns refer to fuel. For electricity quantities and kWh consumption, use the consumption lists (Article 92) and the electric reports (Article 11).

Does this report differ from the Cost-Efficiency Report? Yes: "Kosten je Fahrzeug" (Cost per Vehicle) breaks costs down by cost block, including leasing/purchase data; the Cost-Efficiency Report (Article 89) additionally scales these down to monthly and daily values.
